- Cafe T P T
21 Wardour St, London W1D 6PN. Tel: 020 7734 7980.

We booked a table here for 2pm only for the restaurant to seat us late and close the kitchen 15 minutes later. We’re including them as their Shanghai-style xiao long bao are probably the best in London.
- Mandarin Palace
559-561 Cranbrook Road, London IG2 6JZ. Tel: 020 8550 7661.
The side of a major roundabout is an unlikely place to find one of London best venues for dim sum.
- Min Jiang
Royal Garden Hotel, 2-24 Kensington High Street, London W8 4PT. Tel: 020 7361 1988.
‘Legendary’ is how Min Jiang describe their wood-fired Beijing duck. We wouldn’t necessarily go that far, but it’s pretty good. Ensure you order it when placing your reservation.

The only Chinese restaurant that we know of in the London area to offer a gluten-free menu including dim sum.
- Pearl Liang

Popularity with Chinese diners continues to ensure that this Baker St venue maintains standards. Traditional dim sum and Cantonese.
- Shikumen Shepherd’s Bush
Dorsett Hotel, 58 Shepherd’s Bush Green, London W12 8QE. Tel: 020 8749 9978.
We weren’t impressed by their Peking Duck as the skin was chewy, not crisp. Give that a miss and opt for the impressive dim sum and noodle dishes instead.

Gigantic dockside restaurant with a comprehensive offering of dim sum, Chinese BBQ and traditional Cantonese dishes.
